Profile

Multidisciplinary Mentor | Writer | Award-Winning Filmmaker | Heritage Researcher | Content Specialist

Professional Overview

I am an educator, researcher, and writer with a cross-disciplinary background in media, literature, cultural preservation, and skills development. Over the past several years, I have worked at the intersection of academic research, creative expression, and public engagement — supporting individuals and institutions in achieving meaningful growth.

My work ranges from award-winning filmmaking on social justice issues to heritage research in northern Pakistan, from writing fiction and editorial content to designing educational workshops that inspire lasting impact. Whether mentoring students or curating cultural events, I approach every project with structure, depth, and purpose.

Key Achievements

  • Grand Prize Winner — Women Empowerment Filmmaking, Swat District (USAID, 2023). Recognized for leading a community-based storytelling initiative focused on gender equity.
  • First Runner-Up — Freedom of Religious Belief and Women Empowerment Film, selected from international submissions representing 15+ countries across South and East Asia (Empower Women Media, USA).
  • University Honor — Selected to represent the department in a major interdepartmental academic showcase on Greek Mythology.
  • Executive Editor — University Magazine. Oversaw editorial direction and contributed published short stories and articles on literature, culture, and student life.
  • Certificate of Excellence — Mountaineering, Rock Climbing, and Heritage Tourism (Mountain Wilderness International and ISMEO, 2024). Trained in environmental awareness and sustainable exploration.

Current Engagements

I currently serve as a Research Associate and Communication Officer with the British Council CPF, Heritage Management, and the Italian Archaeological Mission. My responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating cultural preservation initiatives across Swat Valley
  • Leading and facilitating heritage walks and public history events
  • Managing communications for heritage-based collaborations and symposiums
  • Supporting community outreach and awareness programs through research-backed storytelling

Writing & Content Expertise

  • Since 2019, I have worked as a professional content writer and editorial consultant. My expertise includes:
  • Website content and brand storytelling
  • Fiction and creative nonfiction
  • Course development and educational blogging
  • AI-assisted writing tools and advanced writing workflows
  • I have also led workshops on novel writing, creative strategy, and AI-integrated authorship for young writers and professionals alike.

Language Training & Certification

In October 2024, I earned an IELTS Band 8 score after completing a highly focused 6-day training under Salman Sir, further sharpening my approach to language instruction and test-based learning. My experience now informs how I coach learners preparing for IELTS and other proficiency benchmarks—offering structured strategy, time-tested techniques, and confidence-building tools.

Upcoming Training

In September 2025, I am set to begin the Advanced Mountaineering and Rock Climbing Program under Carlos Alberto Pinelli, conducted by ISMEO and Mountain Wilderness International. This ongoing learning journey continues to shape how I approach personal resilience, teamwork, and guided risk-taking—values I actively bring into my mentoring philosophy.

Teaching Philosophy

My approach to mentorship is direct, creative, and grounded in real experience. I do not offer quick fixes — but rather, a methodical path to clarity, skill, and self-trust. Whether I’m working with a first-time writer, a language learner, or a heritage enthusiast, my goal remains the same: to help people grow with intention, and succeed without losing their sense of direction.

Motto

If trying harder hasn’t worked, maybe it’s time to try smarter. Stop sprinting in the wrong direction wearing flip-flops.
